Since 1989, I have worked as a Psychotherapist for adults, adolescents, and children; and as a family therapist, working with parents and couples.

I help individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment issues to disabilities; adolescents adjusting to college and life transition, and struggling with test and social anxiety and suicidal ideation; individuals and couples dealing with relationship, parenting, and sexual issues; and children struggling with school, behavioral, and emotional issues.

As a licensed professional counselor, I use an eclectic approach focused on the individual's psychodynamics, childhood attachments and experience, and social and cultural background. I apply a variety of approaches in my practice: Object-relations therapy; cognitive reconstruction; grief and vocational counseling; collaborative therapy; systemic family therapy; psycho-education; and somatic work such as Somatic Experiencing, Reichian therapy, and Qigong Sensory Treatment - QST - massage for parents of children with autism including treatment to their child.

I help clients to manage and reduce stress in their body and healing from traumatic experiences by applying Somatic Experiencing techniques. I am an SEI Beginning & Intermediate Levels-approved provider and SEI assistant for all levels.
